Now that DelMar is over, it's time to start thinking about a long, scenic and fun ride. I'd like to invite all my fellow SoCal CBXers to join me and the HSTA group (I'm a member of both and ride captain of this event) for a great ride to the Borego Springs Resort (for lunch) and then on to Julian for apple pie. This will be a 250 +++ mile event.

Here is some information: The ride has two start points. First will be the Lookout Restaurant above Lake Elsinore. Meet around 9:00 then depart promptly at 9:15 from the Lookout to the Shell/DelTaco on Hwy 79, in Temecula. The depart point is approximately 1 mile east of I-15.

You will get your share of twisties, straight line H.S. runs, sunshine, and good times.

If you have any questions, drop an e-mail to, or call 714.572.1136. Maps and menus available by e-mail.

Regards, DynoDan Clark
