Rod Libby sent this cover letter for the rally:
"Hello CBX Enthusiasts and Friends, Come and join your fellow CBX owners for the 2004 Carson City, NV ICOA Rally. This year we are holding this event the same weekend as the Classic Japanese Motorcycle Clubs Annual Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet in Squaw Valley. Motel 6, Hwy 395, Carson City, NV 775-885-7710. There is NO block of rooms reserved, so make your reservation early. Friday, July 23rd After check-in on Friday, the participants will be getting acquainted (or renewing old friendships) and then check out the CBX's. The Motel 6 has a pool, so bring your swim-suit. Saturday, July 24th We will be riding some of the majestic Sierra-Nevada roads with a side trip to historic Virginia City. Some of you will ride over to the CJMC Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet at Squaw Valley. That evening we'll all be going to the Cattlemen's Steak House for our banquet. Sunday, July 25th Check-out on Sunday with future thoughts of the Morro Bay Rally in September. We can also ride back over to Squaw Valley to check out the Sunday CJMC events.
